Singapore, A country with Merlion statue, is one of the country that often visited by Indonesian people if they were having vacation or study tour. Ofcourse, we don't need any visa to go, Singapore is still in ASEAN :D. Nevertheless, you really need visa if you plan to work there. Alhamdulillah, I have chance for seeing this country for 4 hours, accompanied by my husband, such feel like on the fourth honeymoon,,hehehe. Our trip began from Solo. We took Senja Utama Solo train to Jakarta. We paid 360 thousand rupiahs for 2 train tickets. Fortunately, we have booked and bought the train ticket from the Internet. Simple. You just need go to Indonesia train website (www.kereta-api.co.id), decided your travel (where you from and to, what date you depart), then it will appear a time schedule and the name of train. Choose one of them which suitable for our travel. Make booking and fill our data. Next, Pay our reservation (we can pay by ATM). Afterwards, do confirmation. Then, Finished, our electronic ticket were done and ready to print. Nevertheless, we need to change our electronic ticket in train station counter to get a true ticket. It's easier catch the train now hehehe.
We arrived in Pasar Senen on very early morning. It was 4.25 am on January 8, 2013. We continued our trip to Gambir Station to catch a bus. Fortunately, My husband's friend help us, he picked up us then escort us to Gambir Station. So kind he is, thank you very much :)
Finally, we arrived in Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Then, we go to counter for check in rush. We were almost late for flight, but Alhamdulillah, we made in time. At 11.55, we flight to Singapore with Tiger Airways. For your Information, Tiger Airways sometimes give us promotion fare for the ticket flight. We can get a cheap fare for ticket flight if we bought far-away days before. Fun right? :) Then, After 1 hours (maybe more) in the sky, we landed to the Changi Airport. Alhamdulillah :)
Next visited target is locked. After entrusted our bagage to goods care, we took MRT for going to Raffles Park. We bought a standard ticket from Changi Airport to Raffles Park by ticket machine. I must paid aproximately (sorry, I'm forgot :)) ) 3,1 dollar singapore for one ticket. MRT Singapore is very clean and comfortable. We don't allow to eat or drink inside of MRT, and you should pay fine if you violate that rules surely, I'm serious. we were going from Changi Airport, then get off in Tanah Merah and continue to Raffles Park. First thing that we do after arrived in Raffles Park MRT station was to found a mosque. We need to pray dhuhur and ashr. Alhamdulillah, after 15 minutes walk, we got to a mosque called Masjid Moulana Mohamed Ali. That Masjid is located in the middle of offices building. The prayer room for male is separated with wudhu room, difference from the prayer room for female. The prayer room and the wudhu room for female are become one, just separated with wall inside. Eventhough the prayer room for female is smaller than male's, It's very comfortable. :)

We bought Hainanase Chicken Rice and Roasted Chicken Rice with vegetables and drank Teh Tarik. We were so Full :D. We paid Hainanase Chicken Rice and Roasted Chicken Rice for 9 dollar singapore (4,5 dollar singapore for each meal) and it was free of charge for vegetables. Teh Tarik only 1,5 dollar singapore per cup.

We continued our trip to the Merlion statue. It take place in Marina Bay. It is not far the restaurant that our visited, so we decided to walk while enjoy the scenery of Singapore. During walking towards Merlion statue, we saw a lot of tourist from South Korea. Apparently, they have vacation in Singapore too :). We decided to walk over the edge of river. The river is very clean. Not only the river, the streets are very very clean. I never found the trash in the river or in the street (and I just wonder when Indonesia become like Singapore). Along the river we saw the old man that sell "Es potong". "Es potong" is one of snack that must be taste in Singapore. I bought one Vanilla flavour for both of us. Hehehe,,so romantic time ;)
